April 27th- 28th – Joplin, MO
On Friday the 27th we will be hosting the day’s events and demo showroom at Memorial Hall (same location as last year) from 2pm-7pm. After that we will move to the Joplin Athletic Complex located at 3301 W. 1st St. in Joplin, MO 64801. We will have full access to their office and event building and the parking lots there. We will be shooting behind the main building. It will be a nice and convenient shoot site but we recommend that you bring lawn chairs. We will have some bleachers provided on site, but I am sure any chairs you bring may be better for sitting in, comfort wise for sure. After the demo is done for that evening we will gather at the Old Chicago Restaurant and at the La Quinta Inn and Suites – our host hotel for the entire event - for the night.
On Saturday the 28th we will have a morning “Early” registration event at the host hotel where a complimentary breakfast will be served along with a Bloody Mary and Mimosa bar, next door at Old Chicago – the two facilities share the same roof. We expect this will be a nice and friendly way to start the day off. We will move to Memorial Hall and have the doors open there at 1pm where we will remain for the duration of the day and have our catered dinner that night – please RSVP in advance so we know how much food and drink we will need to provide. After dinner, we go back to the Joplin Athletic Complex for that night’s demo and our finale show which will be shot for us by Aaron Mayfield and AM Pyrotechnics from Buffalo, MO. Following the conclusion of the night’s pyro we will gather back at Old Chicago for the weekend’s social send off.
During all days of the event and on Sunday we will be loading orders at the warehouse. If you are bringing your trailer in, feel free to drop it at the warehouse while you are in town and you can pick it back up before you leave. No reason to drive around town with it! We strongly recommend that you place advance orders prior to the demo for existing items that you already know you will need so we can have those ready for you upon your arrival. Once you see the new stuff and pick what you want there, we will pull and load those for you before you leave. We just want the experience to be as convenient and smooth as possible and given that we have so much in stock we anticipate that we will be very busy with orders during the demo weekend.
As far as lodging goes, we have arranged for preferential rates at a number of local hotels and those are listed below. When reserving your room, let them know you are with the Red Rhino Demo group to get the preferred rate.
